Ott Pärna is an industry professor at the University of Tartu Delta Management School. Professor Pärna is an economist, entrepreneur and sports activist. He is the founder and leader of SCULT Foundation – an international health lifestyle social enterprise, and the leading figure behind a policy development company ESTCORP. Ott Pärna runs a popular international business & economy-related radio show, BOOM, at the Kuku radio.

Pärna is the former CEO of the Estonian Development Fund, the national 'innovation lab' established by the Parliament. He has led the founding teams at SmartCap Venture, Capital, Estonian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association EstVCA, and Tallinn Science Park TEHNOPOL. Pärna has also been supporting the Let's Do It! World Cleanup Foundation as its advisory board member.

Professor Pärna's lecture focuses on innovation and the possibility of entrepreneurship in the public sector. The turbulent world, complex challenges and opportunities that require cooperation in different fields present the rulers and the public sector with challenges. That is why we need innovation and entrepreneurship in the public sector more than ever. What do we need to know for this? What are the proven solutions?
