Landing a career in biotechnology outside academia by Asfand Yar Saqib (MSc in Bioengineering)

Asfand Yar Saqib is a biotechnology enthusiast holding a firm belief in hard work, persistence and positivity in life with a goal to contribute towards the paradigm shift involving biobased industrial revolution.

He will explain the practices that will help one land a career in life sciences based on his experiences. He is a fermentation scientist who has worked with numerous industries helping them upscale their research technology for commercial applications. Asfand's focus will be to guide one in hopes of utilizing this master's opportunity at the University of Tartu to its fullest.
